As we wrap up 2022 and enter 2023, there are a few astrological factors on New Year’s Eve that we’re all wondering about. Whether you’re gathering with friends for the New Year or prefer to stay cozy and intimate, according to AstroTwins, here’s the do’s and don’ts.
This New Year will be a mixture of retrograde planets, with the Moon in Taurus and Venus and Pluto in Capricorn. What the hell does that mean, you ask?
On the one hand, both Mercury and Mars are retrograde, which could take us out of our normal game. As the twins explain, not only can goals or plans be delayed or changed, but interactions can easily become heated and cause disagreements.
Throwing (or attending) a New Year’s Eve party or making decisions for it is not the best energy. As the twins say, “Save your resolutions for 2023 as ‘drafts’ since you can edit them many times.”
However, fortunately, the Moon in Taurus will give us much-needed support and stability. Venus, the planet of luxury and pleasure, and Pluto, the planet of change, are both in solid Capricorn, so let’s just say it’s a little stuffy too.
Here are some astrological rules and taboos, and keep an eye on all these planetary positions and start 2023 on the right foot with Gemini.
Gemini explains that New Year’s Eve is always a good time for reflection and release, especially this year, with attractive Venus and lurking Pluto in ambitious Capricorn.
“Pluto is the planet of change – think of a phoenix rising from the ashes. What do you want to leave in the dust after 2022 ends? Write a list and then do a candle or fire pit ritual to burn the paper.” advises the twins.
Another great way to take advantage of the freshness and inspiration of the New Year is to make a visual boarding. According to the twins, it’s a great party if you throw it. “If you don’t want to get into those details, take the time to write down your wishes for 2023 as the Universe is adjusting quickly,” they added.
If you’re attached, remember that 2022 is ending on a rather seductive note, the twins say. They recommend keeping the celebration intimacy, or at least ending the night with some quality one-on-one communication. “With synchronized soulful sensibility, the connection between mind, body and soul can quickly heat up,” they add.
Venus has a strong influence on NG, it is the planet of happiness, so do not shy away from it! We all deserve a little luxury from time to time, and what better occasion to indulge in luxury than a New Year’s Eve party? In short, don’t skimp on the finer, more luxurious details, the twins say.
Mercury retrograde can quickly become eccentric – it’s simple. Things like travel issues, misunderstandings, and derailed plans are not uncommon, so tread carefully, according to the twins. “If you are attending a banquet, please check out early and confirm your booking. Think carefully about the guest list for the New Year, ”they added.
Finally, keep in mind that due to Mercury and Mars retrograde, things may not be as smooth as we would like. As the twins explain, overly ambitious plans for the end of the year are no reason to force anything. “Even if you’re doing everything ‘perfectly’, you may be too resentful (and exhausted!) to have fun,” they say, adding that if your decisions are put off for a while until the cycle has passed, that’s okay, too. .
Of course, we may not check the simplest New Year’s astrological predictions, but this does not mean that fun and holidays can be avoided! That’s the beauty of stargazing: when you know what to expect, you’re more prepared to go through it with grace.
