It’s hard to believe it’s been five days since the Buffalo Bills lost 42-36 to the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC Divisional Game.
Then again, maybe you’re thinking, “Wait, it’s only five days?” After all, it’s been one of the toughest weeks ever for Buffalo Sports fans.
One thing we can lift our collective hat is that the Bills have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, and after this month’s playoff performance, he may have cemented himself as the best quarterback discuss.
Josh Allen is simply Superman. He proved in arguably the worst road conditions in the NFL, in the playoffs, against Patrick Mahomes, trailing for most of the game and facing multiple 3rd and 4th turnovers.
Allen went 27-for-37 for 329 yards and four touchdowns in an all-time NFL playoff performance. He also rushed for nearly 70 yards.
Allen threw all four touchdowns to Gabriel Davis, who also showed the league what he can do on the big stage. The last touchdown pass came at the end of the final blow with 62 seconds left.Allen threw a 19-yard pass to Davis with 13 seconds left.
On Thursday, Jon Scott of Spectrum News Buffalo shared a photo of Alan I didn’t know existed. It showed Allen pointing to “the ice in his veins” with 13 seconds left after his fourth touchdown pass to Davis.
Allen is down to earth and humble like an NFL star.He didn’t really enjoy the spotlight away from the football field, but his privacy in Western New York. But I have to imagine he knows how good he is on the pitch.
It’s great to see this level of confidence.Players like Allen, Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady, Herbert, Burrow and Lamar Jackson have to have some level of swagger in their game.
