Dana has acquired all of the assets of ETA Profiles LLC for an undisclosed amount, Dana said in a press release. Real estate appraisal – $5.5 million.
This new initiative will help Dana Steel Fabrication Industries’ Profiles and Claddings business increase capacity to meet a growing customer base in the Middle East and North Africa market.
The main product lines provided by Dana Steel include various types of thermal insulation composite profiled panels, profiled cladding panels, wall cladding panels, roofing panels, curved cladding panels, waterproof panels, sandwich panels, slabs, slabs and secondary steel members, such as in as Z and C runs and auxiliary fittings.
Plants and equipment purchased from ETA Profiles will be moved to Dana Steel’s existing plants in Al Jurf Ajman and UAQ, a modern industrial estate in the UAE.
Key equipment includes a fully automatic line for Z and C purlin profiling, as well as a fully automatic slitting line capable of cutting thinner pre-coated aluminum and GI coils for cladding.
The addition of these lines will increase Dana Steel’s insulating panel and cladding production capacity to over 10,000 square meters per day.
